Commander Kai banged the table in frustration. He must find where the Necrons will strike next, or his whole company would be doomed. The Commander poured over planetary maps pin-pointing specific locations that would be valuable to Necrons. The problem was, THERE WAS TOO MANY!! The planet was too vulnerable, the Necrons could attack anywhere with success.
But this wasn't what the Commander was most worried about. Rike. That was the subject for fear. Not that he feared Rike, he had proven himself better plenty of times, it was his men that he was most worried about. Rike's ability to enter the human psyche and cause fear was unheared of among other Necrons. If not for Kai's unyielding tenaciousness on the battle field, he feared the Imperial Fists would not last.
As the Commander poured over the maps he focused on the mining fields and power refineries. They were the most important resources on this planet. He would prepare for attacks there and fortify defenses.
